The Noisy Paint Box: The Colors and Sounds of Kandinsky’s Abstract Art

The Noisy Paint Box: The Colors and Sounds of Kandinsky’s Abstract Art it a very touching story about a boy that whats to do something different then what he is expected to do. His aunt gives him an art box that speaks to him. He looks at the colours and hears sounds. He grows up and becomes a lawyer and does what everyone expects him to do. But one night he goes to the symphony. He sees all of the colours zoom before his eyes. He then goes and becomes a painter. He was the first man that created abstract art. I can connect to this because I saw a documentary on the gift of using different senses for different things. For example, you can taste colours. Or you can see sounds. I can also relate to the fact that he always wanted to follow his dream. I have the same kind of thing driving him. All in all this book is very moving and I can relate to it a lot.
